About Us
Founded in 2004 and incorporated under the Companies Act of 1956, The Indian Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited (IOFPCL), headquartered in Aluva, Kerala is the largest organic producer company in India owned by the farmers. We serve more than 2500 primary producer members in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. (IOFPCL) headquartered in Aluva, Kerala is the largest organic producer company in India, owned and run by the farmers, for the farmers. It was set up to embolden the farmers to take on the challenges of production, procurement, processing and marketing of Organic products in the domestic and international markets.
The company aims to cut out the middleman and hence
ensures that the farmer benefits the maximum in the end pricing of his
agricultural produce. The company also ensures an Organic premium over and above
the market price so that the farmer has an incentive to follow Organic
practices. IOFPCL is registered with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade as
an Importer – Exporter and is a ‘Registered Exporter Member’ of the Spices
Board, Coffee Board, Coconut Board and the Agricultural and Processed Food
Products Export Development Authority (APEDA).
The company has been successful in the wholesale export of Organic products to
Europe and America for the past 13 years.
About Jaiva
Jaiva is the retail brand of IOFPCL with a Jaiva
supermarket currently
operating out of IOFPCL’s office headquarters in Aluva, Kerala, India. Plans are
afoot to open more
stores in Kerala soon. www.jaivaonline.com is Jaiva’s dedicated e-marketplace
where consumers can
purchase the Jaiva brand of products online. The various Jaiva products are
procured from IOFPCL’s
member farmers who are Organic and Fairtrade certified, and are value added and
packaged by IOFPCL
at Aluva, Kerala. With a total cultivated area spanning 12,793 acres, the main
crops grown are:
Wayanad – Coffee, Pepper, Ginger, Turmeric, Vanilla.
Kannur – Cashew, Coconut, Pepper, Vanilla, Ginger, Nutmeg,
Cocoa.
Palakkad – Coconut, Cocoa, Pepper, Vanilla, Nutmeg, Rubber
Idukki – Cocoa, Pepper, Vanilla, Nutmeg.

Organic certification
The EU has established the standards, processes & enforcement procedures that govern the right to sell, label & represent products as organic. Our products are certified Fully Organic, under NPOP, by INDOCERT.
Fairtrade
Fairtrade certification is a product certification system where social, economic, and environmental aspects of production are certified against Fairtrade Standards for Producers and Traders. The Fairtrade system monitors the buying and the selling of the product until it is consumer packaged and labeled, by FLOCERT.
